Partner Mark Jetton Guest on WBTV to Speak About the Derek Chauvin Trial

On April 19th, Mark S. Jetton, Jr., of Jetton & Meredith, PLLC, spoke with WBTV about the pressures and rules the jurors in the Derek Chauvin trial are facing as they begin deliberation. The jurors must remain impartial, independent, uninfluenced by any person, and they must keep statements made in the jury room confidential.

When asked how the jury must be feeling during this trial, Mark stated, “There is just no way around it. They can't put it in the back of their minds, just the pressure in everything surrounding this case, and what’s going on definitely has to be on their shoulders.”
