Originally from Virginia, Josh Lee brings both compassion and courtroom experience to his work at Jetton & Meredith. After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Emory & Henry College in 2013, he relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue his legal education. He graduated from law school in 2016 and was licensed to practice law in North Carolina that same year.

Since beginning his legal career, Josh has dedicated much of his practice to serving families and children navigating complex legal challenges. He previously represented clients in high-conflict custody matters through his work with the Council for Children’s Rights, where he handled emotionally charged and fact-intensive cases involving the wellbeing of children and families. This experience sharpened his advocacy skills and reinforced his commitment to protecting his clients’ interests during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

In addition, Josh worked with the Burke County Department of Social Services, gaining valuable insight into child welfare matters and the intersection of families and the legal system. His experience both inside and outside the courtroom provides him with a well-rounded understanding of how cases are evaluated, negotiated, and resolved.

At Jetton & Meredith, Josh applies a thoughtful, strategic approach to every case. He understands that legal challenges, particularly those involving family, require not only strong advocacy but also clear communication and steady guidance. Clients appreciate his ability to remain calm under pressure while keeping their goals at the forefront.

Outside of the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He and his family stay busy with their dog and two cats, and he values being an active, engaged member of the Charlotte community he now calls home.
