Mark S. Jetton, Jr. is one of the founding partners of Jetton & Meredith. Mr. Jetton focuses his practice on criminal defense, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. This includes representing individuals charged with DWI/DUI, felonies, misdemeanors, and traffic offenses, as well as those who are seriously injured or killed as a result of an accident or the negligence of someone else.  Personal Background 

A Charlotte native with deep roots in the community, Mark is a first-generation lawyer whose family has called the Charlotte area home for more than 100 years. In 2009, he and his law partner founded Jetton & Meredith with a shared vision of building a law firm centered on client service, hard work, and integrity. Today, the firm’s office is located on Trade Street, less than half a mile from Presbyterian Hospital, where two generations of the Jetton family were born.

Outside of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife, Nikki, and their two children, Allie and Jett. The Jetton family are members of Carmel Country Club and are actively involved in the Charlotte Community. An avid outdoorsman, Mark can often be found working out, boating on Lake Norman, or enjoying Charlotte's locally owned restaurants. During basketball season, he can frequently be found courtside cheering on the Charlotte Hornets as a season ticket holder. He enjoys spending summers waterskiing at the lake and winters skiing out west with his family.

A former college football player, Mark continues to support the teams he once played on, the Clemson Tigers and Elon Phoenix football teams. He is passionate about mentoring young athletes and giving back through youth sports. Mark currently coaches baseball through the South Park Youth Association and previously coached football at Holy Trinity Middle School. Mark and his family are active members of New City Church in South Park and the DOWD YMCA. Mark is heavily involved in Providence Day School, where he graduated from, player football, and his 2 kids attend.

Community Involvement

Mark believes strongly in giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his career. He actively supports and volunteers with several local organizations, including Special Olympics, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Charlotte, The DOWD YMCA of Greater Charlotte, and the Fraternal Order of Police Charlotte Lodge.

In addition to his community involvement, Mark remains actively engaged in the legal profession. He serves on the Elon Law Board of Advisors, helping guide and support future generations of attorneys at the law school where he met his business partner and graduated as a member of the inaugural class. Through his service, mentorship, and community engagement, Mark continues to invest in the growth and success of both the Charlotte community and the legal profession.
