Tim Cannady Was Featured on the News Discussing Possession of Controlled Substances at the Jail

Diana Cojocari, the mother of missing Cornelius girl Madalina Cojocari, has been charged with drug possession while in jail, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.

Cojocari and her husband Christopher Palmiter were first arrested in December for failing to report Madalina's disappearance.

Attorney Tim Cannady discussed the case with WCNC Charlotte last week.

"When you're talking about possession, and you're talking about North Carolina law, it doesn't really matter where you found it, it matters where they find it on you, so, the fact that it was in her pocket, that's a problem."
